BYWVA Place for Life

Welcome to the Bywva Health Centre:

Bywva is one of 3 school-based integrated health centres, created to help provide easily accessible help and guidance on health and life issues for young people. The other two centres are situated in Budehaven and Hayle.

Inspired by the success of a similar project in New Zealand, the centre had been funded through a partnership between The Duchy Health Charity, The Prince’s Foundation for Integrated Health, The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Primary care Trust and Cornwall’s Children’s Services Authority.

The concept aims to bring together professionals from health and education to explore ways of enhancing the educational experienced of young people and encouraging them to take responsibilities for their own wellbeing.
